How Book A Sloth uses Google
Hosts sign in with Google — no passwords to remember or leak. With your permission, Book A Sloth connects to your Google Calendar so your availability and bookings stay in sync. We request only the minimum permissions needed:
Calendar events calendar.events — Creates, reschedules and cancels booking events on your calendar — with Google Meet links attached.
Free/busy times calendar.freebusy — Reads when you're busy so already-taken slots are hidden from your public booking page.
Calendar settings calendar.settings.readonly — Reads your calendar's timezone once, to set your availability correctly.
Your Google data is used only to provide these scheduling features — never for advertising, never sold. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account settings. Book A Sloth's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
