Branding and theme colours
Your public page can reflect your brand rather than looking like a generic tool.
Theme colours
Set your page's theme colour from your dashboard Profile. The range of colours you can pick from depends on your plan — the free tier has a set of standard colours, and paid plans unlock more, up to full custom colours on the top tier.
"This colour isn't available on your plan"
You've picked a colour beyond what your current plan includes. Either choose one from your plan's set, or upgrade to unlock more — see Plans and upgrading.
If you enter a custom colour and it's rejected, make sure it's a valid hex value like #FE5100.
Custom branding
Paid plans let your booking page carry your own branding, so it looks like your business — useful if you're building a personal brand and don't want an obviously third-party page. Higher tiers include more branding control. The pricing page shows what each plan includes.
Theme & Branding — the basics
What is Theme & Branding? It's how you personalise your Book A Sloth profile with your business identity — your theme colour, profile image (which doubles as your logo), and cover image. It changes how your public page looks, not how bookings work.
Why does branding matter? A consistent, professional look helps customers recognise your business, builds trust, and creates a memorable booking experience.
How do I customise my profile? Open your dashboard Profile, set your theme colour and upload your images, then save. Review your public profile to confirm it looks right before sharing.
Can I change it anytime? Yes. Update your theme colour and images whenever you want, as often as you want. Changes appear on your public profile once saved.
Theme colour
Book A Sloth uses a single theme colour — the main accent used across your public profile (buttons, highlights, and supporting elements all follow it). There isn't a separate "primary" and "secondary" colour or per-element colour control; the one theme colour drives the accents where the design supports it.
Choosing a colour. Pick a colour that represents your business and reads clearly. Both light and dark colours work as long as they keep good contrast and readability. The range you can pick from depends on your plan — the free tier has standard colours, paid plans unlock more, up to full custom hex on the top tier.
Changing it later. Pick a new colour and save; the new colour shows on your public profile immediately. There's no one-click "reset to default" — to go back, re-pick the earlier colour. If you enter a custom hex and it's rejected, check it's a valid value like #FE5100.
Logo and profile image
Your profile image is what appears on your public profile and booking pages as your business identity — businesses typically upload their logo here, while individual professionals use a personal photo. There isn't a separate logo slot; the profile image serves that role.
Format. Use a high-quality PNG or JPG. Transparent PNGs usually look cleanest for logos. A low-resolution image can look blurry or pixelated — upload a higher-resolution one for the best result.
Replacing or removing. Upload a new image whenever your business identity changes or you want to refresh your profile. To change back to an earlier logo, re-upload that file (keep your own copy — there's no version history to restore from).
New image not showing? Refresh your browser after saving. If it still doesn't appear, re-upload it, and make sure it's a supported format.
Cover image
You can upload a cover image to personalise your profile — available on all plans. Choose a clean, professional image that represents your business, services, or workspace — you can also use it to promote seasonal offers or campaigns, and update it whenever you want.
Text on the cover. Keep any text simple, readable, and relevant.
Sizing and cropping. Use a high-resolution image at the recommended dimensions so it displays clearly across devices. Images with the wrong aspect ratio may be cropped automatically — match the recommended ratio to avoid this.
What branding does and doesn't change
Branding only changes your profile's appearance. It does not change:
- your existing or upcoming bookings, or any customer data;
- your services (you don't need to republish them);
- your Digital Products;
- your profile URL / booking link;
- your account settings.
Branding applies to your overall host profile, not to individual services — you can't set different branding per service. Your booking page follows your profile branding where supported, so customers get one consistent experience.
Plans, mobile, and troubleshooting
Plans. Available branding and customisation options depend on your active subscription. Upgrading can unlock more colour and customisation control — if a feature is greyed out, it's likely on a higher plan. See Plans and upgrading.
Mobile. You can manage Theme & Branding from supported mobile devices. It's worth previewing your profile on both desktop and mobile after changes.
Preview before sharing. Always review your public profile after saving so you can confirm the colour and images look the way you want.
Not saving or not displaying? Confirm you're uploading a supported format at the recommended size, then save and refresh. If changes still won't save or show correctly, contact Book A Sloth Support with the details.
Branding best practices
Use a high-quality logo (as your profile image), a theme colour that reflects your business and stays readable, and a clean professional cover image. Keep the same logo and colours across your website and social media so customers recognise you everywhere. Avoid low-quality images, hard-to-read colour choices, and cluttered designs. Refresh your branding as your business grows or rebrands. Strong, consistent branding builds trust, makes your business memorable, and can give customers more confidence when booking.
