Pricing and commission

Full, current prices and limits are always on the pricing page — this is an overview of how it works.

The plans

  • Starter — free forever, no credit card, with real online payment collection included.
  • Host+ — a flat annual price, higher limits, and extra features.
  • Studio — the top tier, with unlimited services and bookings plus advanced tools.

How much does each plan cost?

If you're wondering how much Book A Sloth costs, what the price of Host+ or Studio is, or what the monthly or yearly fee comes to — the current prices for every plan are listed on the pricing page.

Here's the shape of it:

  • Starter costs nothing — it's free forever (a 5% per-booking commission applies).
  • Host+ and Studio are paid plans billed on a flat subscription. Host+ is the mid tier; Studio is the top tier with the most included.

Prices can change and are set by Book A Sloth, so for the exact amount of any plan — Starter, Host+, or Studio — check the pricing page for the up-to-date figure.

Commission

  • On paid plans (Host+ and Studio), commission is 0% — you keep the full service price your client pays.
  • On the free Starter plan, a 5% commission applies per booking. That's what funds a genuinely free tier instead of a limited trial.

The exact percentage and prices are on the pricing page.

Fees on a paid booking

Two costs sit on top of the service price at checkout, and the guest sees the full total before paying:

  • A flat ₹10 booking fee (+18% GST) — charged by Book A Sloth on each paid booking, regardless of plan.
  • The payment gateway's processing fee (Razorpay's) — charged by the gateway, not by us.

Your earnings are calculated from the service price you set, not the total the guest pays.

Setting your prices

You choose the price of each service. Paid services have a minimum price of ₹100. You can also list free (₹0) services, up to your plan's free-service limit — see Plans and upgrading.

Switching plans

You can upgrade or downgrade as your business changes, with no lock-in beyond the billing period you've already paid for. See Plans and upgrading.
