Two logins, one less password, and the reschedule button we probably should’ve shipped first

Every password you ask someone to create is a small tax on them ever coming back. They forget it, they reset it, they give up somewhere in the middle and go do something else. So for guests, we simply stopped asking.

Your phone number is the login

Guest login is now phone-first: your number is your identity. Enter it, confirm with a code over WhatsApp, and if you are new an account is created quietly in the background. No form, no password to invent, no “must contain a symbol and a childhood memory.” The lowest-friction login is the one with nothing to remember, which is roughly the whole idea behind our under-a-minute booking flow.

A navbar that knows who you are

Navigation went role-aware. It shows you what is relevant and hides what is not, depending on whether you are here to book or here to host. One less cluttered menu to squint at. Software should adapt quietly to you, rather than handing you a map and wishing you luck.

Reschedule, instead of the awkward do-over

And the one people felt immediately: reschedule. Plans move. That is not an edge case, that is Tuesday. Before this, moving a booking meant cancelling and rebooking, a small ritual of friction and an awkward refund dance. Now you move the booking, with proper fee handling built in for the times a reschedule should carry one. It is the kind of thing calendar tools like Cal.com treat as table stakes, and they are right to.
